Laidlaw Lab
Welcome to the Laidlaw Lab!
The Laidlaw lab investigates the development of immunological memory in disease states. Specifically, we study the pathways regulating the development and function of memory B cells following viral infection and vaccination. We use advanced mouse models, sequencing, and screening approaches to identify novels regulators of immune memory development and determine the mechanisms by which these regulators function.
The overall goal of this research is to help facilitate the design of vaccines capable of eliciting a broadly protective immune response against highly mutable pathogens.
The lab is part of the Division of Allergy and Immunology and the Department of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis and is located on the 8th floor of the Clinical Sciences Research Building.
